
Piso Kryoneri is a small pebbly beach with deep water. This beach is situated in the town of Parga after Kryoneri beach within a few minutes walking distance from the centre of Parga. It is well protected behind a hill, which is known as Saint Athanasios hill since the little church at the top of the hill is devoted to Saint Athanasios. It is also well sheltered from the weather. Visit the beach to enjoy swimming. The easiest way to reach Piso Kryoneri beach is walking for few minutes if you stay in Parga. If you stay far away from Parga, then you can visit it by car, by motorbike and by bicycle. If you stay at Valtos area, you can also visit the beach by boat or by pedalo. Piso Kryoneri beach is an organized beach and you can find everything you need on the beach or in the cafes, restaurants and mini markets in the surrounding area. The beautiful Virgin Mary Island, which is only a few minutes away by pedalo, the beautiful and wild rocks such as Skordas and Kremidas, some other small caves and a couple of tiny beaches hidden behind the wild rocks of the area are definitely worth seeing. In Greek “Piso Kryoneri beach” means Behind Kryoneri beach and Kryoneri means cold water, although the water definitely is not cold the in Summer months.
